Description
Buloxibutid (AT2 agonist M24, M024/C21) is a selective non-peptide angiotensin II type 2 receptor (AT2/AGTR2) agonist with reported Ki activity of 0.4 nM at AT2 and much weaker affinity at AT1.
AT2 receptor activation is associated with vasodilatory, anti-inflammatory, antifibrotic and tissue-protective signaling within the renin-angiotensin system. Buloxibutid is useful for studying AT2-selective pharmacology in cardiovascular, renal, pulmonary and fibrosis-related models.
