Description
PNU 22394 hydrochloride is a potent 5-HT2 receptor ligand with reported Ki values of 18 nM at 5-HT2A, 18 nM at 5-HT2C and 66 nM at 5-HT2B receptors.
Functionally, PNU 22394 behaves as a near-full 5-HT2C agonist while showing partial agonism at 5-HT2A and lower efficacy at 5-HT2B. It has been used to study serotonergic control of food consumption and 5-HT2 receptor subtype pharmacology.
