Description
Zardaverine is a selective dual phosphodiesterase 3/4 (PDE3/PDE4) inhibitor that enhances cyclic nucleotide signaling.
Combined PDE3 and PDE4 inhibition affects airway smooth muscle tone, inflammatory-cell activation and cAMP-dependent signaling. Zardaverine is used to investigate bronchodilatory and anti-inflammatory mechanisms in respiratory and cellular pharmacology.
