Description
VU 0357017 hydrochloride is a highly selective M1 muscarinic acetylcholine receptor positive allosteric modulator (PAM).
M1 receptor activation is involved in cortical and hippocampal cholinergic signaling, cognition and synaptic plasticity. VU 0357017 is useful for studying M1-selective allosteric potentiation without direct orthosteric agonism.
