Atglistatin

Description

Highly potent and selective inhibitor of adipose triglyceride lipase (ATGL; IC50 value 0.7 μM) that reduces fatty acid mobilization in vitro and in vitro. Atglistatin does not inhibit HSL, monoglyceride lipase, pancreatic lipase, lipoprotein lipase and two lysophospholipases of the patatin-like phospholipase domain–containing protein family (PNPLA) exhibiting homology to ATGL.
