APE1 Inhibitor III
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C19H21N3OS2
- MW: 371.52
Description
APE1 Inhibitor III is a cell-permeable competitive inhibitor of apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease 1 (APE1/Ape1), with reported activity of approximately 2.0 µM against purified APE1 enzyme. It blocks AP endonuclease activity within base excision repair pathways.
APE1 supports repair of abasic DNA lesions generated by oxidative and alkylating damage. APE1 Inhibitor III is useful for studying DNA repair dependency, genotoxic stress responses and therapeutic sensitization strategies.
Key Features
- Cell-permeable APE1 inhibitor
- Competitive inhibition of AP endonuclease activity
- Micromolar potency against purified APE1
- Targets base excision repair mechanisms
Applications
- APE1 biochemical assays
- DNA damage response studies
- Base excision repair pathway research
- Genotoxic stress sensitization models
