AR03
- Soluble in 0.1N HCl(aq) and DMSO
- MF: C15H15N3
- MW: 237.3
Description
AR03 is a specific inhibitor of apurinic/apyrimidinic endonuclease 1 (APE1/Ape1) activity. It is used to interfere with APE1-dependent DNA base excision repair and AP-site processing.
APE1 is a key DNA repair enzyme that contributes to genome stability, oxidative DNA damage repair and cellular resistance to genotoxic stress. AR03 is relevant for DNA repair pathway studies and cancer sensitization research.
Key Features
- Specific APE1 activity inhibitor
- Targets AP endonuclease function
- Interferes with base excision repair pathways
- Useful DNA repair pharmacology tool
Applications
- APE1 enzyme assays
- Base excision repair research
- Oxidative DNA damage studies
- Cancer chemosensitization and radiosensitization models
