Description
ERB 041 (Prinaberel) is a highly selective estrogen receptor β (ERβ) agonist with a reported IC50 value of 5.4 nM for human ERβ and more than 200-fold selectivity over ERα.
ERβ regulates tissue-specific estrogen signaling and is implicated in inflammation, pain, metabolism and reproductive biology. ERB 041 is used to study ERβ-selective nuclear receptor pharmacology without strong ERα activation.
