Description
Bazedoxifene hydrochloride is a third-generation selective estrogen receptor modulator (SERM) that modulates estrogen receptor signaling in a tissue-dependent manner.
SERMs provide antagonist or agonist-like effects depending on cellular co-regulator context and tissue type. Bazedoxifene is useful for studying estrogen receptor pharmacology, bone biology and hormone-responsive signaling pathways.
