Description
RO 04-6790 hydrochloride is a potent and selective serotonin 5-HT6 receptor antagonist.
5-HT6 receptors are expressed predominantly in the CNS and modulate cognition-related neurotransmitter systems, including glutamatergic and cholinergic signaling. RO 04-6790 is used to study 5-HT6 receptor blockade in cognitive and neuropsychiatric pathway research.
