Description
Antalarmin hydrochloride is a selective non-peptide corticotropin-releasing factor receptor 1 (CRF1/CRHR1) antagonist.
CRF1 receptors coordinate hypothalamic-pituitary-adrenal axis activation and stress-related neuroendocrine responses. Antalarmin is used to study CRF1-dependent stress, anxiety and affective behavior pathways.
