Abnormal cannabidiol
- Abn-CBD- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C21H30O2
- MW: 314.46
Description
Abnormal cannabidiol is a regioisomer of cannabidiol that is inactive at classical CB1 and CB2 receptors but activates non-CB1/non-CB2 cannabinoid-responsive signaling pathways.
Abnormal cannabidiol is used to investigate atypical cannabinoid pharmacology, including vascular responses and GPCR mechanisms proposed for GPR55, GPR18 and related cannabinoid-sensitive systems.
Key Features
- Non-psychotropic cannabidiol regioisomer
- Activates non-CB1/non-CB2 cannabinoid-responsive pathways
- Useful for atypical cannabinoid receptor research
- Relevant to vascular and GPCR signaling studies
Applications
- Atypical cannabinoid pharmacology
- GPR55/GPR18 pathway research
- Vasodilation and vascular signaling models
- Endocannabinoid system assay development
