Description

Abnormal cannabidiol is a regioisomer of cannabidiol that is inactive at classical CB1 and CB2 receptors but activates non-CB1/non-CB2 cannabinoid-responsive signaling pathways.

Abnormal cannabidiol is used to investigate atypical cannabinoid pharmacology, including vascular responses and GPCR mechanisms proposed for GPR55, GPR18 and related cannabinoid-sensitive systems.

Key Features

  • Non-psychotropic cannabidiol regioisomer
  • Activates non-CB1/non-CB2 cannabinoid-responsive pathways
  • Useful for atypical cannabinoid receptor research
  • Relevant to vascular and GPCR signaling studies

Applications

  • Atypical cannabinoid pharmacology
  • GPR55/GPR18 pathway research
  • Vasodilation and vascular signaling models
  • Endocannabinoid system assay development
