Description
SSR 69071 is a highly potent and selective human leukocyte elastase (HLE)/neutrophil elastase inhibitor with a reported Ki value of 0.02 nM.
Neutrophil elastase is a serine protease involved in extracellular matrix degradation, inflammatory tissue injury and pulmonary disease mechanisms. SSR 69071 is useful for studying elastase-driven proteolysis and anti-inflammatory protease inhibition.
