ATPase (Midasin)

Midasin belongs to the AAA-type ATPase superfamily and appears to be present in all eukaryotes. Midasin is associated with the nuclear pore complex involved in cytoplasmic export of the 60S ribosomal particle. By analogy to dynein, midasin might act as a motor in the translocation of the ribosomal particles across the nuclear pore[1].
