Description
RS-1 (RAD51-Stimulatory Compound-1) is a enhancer of CRISPR-based genome editing and homology-directed repair (HDR; RAD51). RS-1 can enhance filament stability, and stimulated hRAD51-mediated homologous strand assimilation (D-loop) activity by at least 5- to 11-fold.
RAD51 pharmacology is highly relevant to disease-relevant cellular and translational research models; RS-1 serves as a potent activator that supports mechanistic studies of RAD51, DNA repair, and CRISPR genome editing across biochemical, cellular, and disease-model assays.
