Description
SB 747651A is a potent mitogen- and stress-activated kinase 1 (MSK1) inhibitor with a reported IC50 value of 11 nM in vitro.
MSK1 acts downstream of ERK and p38 MAPK signaling to regulate transcription factors and chromatin marks such as CREB and histone H3 phosphorylation. SB 747651A is useful for studying MSK-dependent transcriptional responses.
