- Soluble in DMSO and EtOH
- MF: C20H22ClNO4
- MW: 375.85
Description
BAY R3401 is a prodrug of BAY U6751 (Axon 4447), which is a glycogen phosphorylase (GPase) inhibitor with IC50 values of 39 nM and 138 nM for HLGPa and HMGPa, respectively. The metabolites of BAY R3401 suppress hepatic glycogenolysis by allosteric inhibition and by the dephosphorylation of phosphorylase a.
