Description
The orally active antimetabolite TAS-102 (Trifluridine/Tipiracil) is an inhibitor of thymidylate synthase (TS) and is incorporated into DNA. TAS-102 is composed of a 1:0.5 mixture (on a molar basis) of α,α,α-tri-fluorothymidine (FTD) and thymidine phosphorylase inhibitor (TPI).
