Description

PA-824 is an antitubercular agent which exhibited sub-micromolar minimal inhibitory concentration (MIC) against M. tuberculosis. PA-824 inhibited the synthesis of protein and cell wall lipid. PA-824 showed potent bactericidal activity against multidrugresistant M. tuberculosis and promising oral activity in animal infection models.
