Description
APX-115 is a first-in-class pan-NADPH oxidase (Nox) inhibitor with a Ki value of 0.57–1.08 μM for Nox isozymes. Blocking the activity of Nox with APX-115 inhibited the responses of BMMs to RANKL, including reactive oxygen species (ROS) generation, activation of mitogen-activated protein (MAP) kinases and NF-κB, and OC differentiation. Drug candidate for treatment of osteoporosis. Promising therapeutic for diabetic nephropathy.
