Description
DY 268 is a potent antagonist of the farnesoid X receptor (FXR/NR1H4). It blocks bile-acid receptor signaling without showing FXR agonist activity in reported assays.
FXR regulates bile acid synthesis, hepatic lipid metabolism, glucose handling and intestinal-liver endocrine signaling. DY 268 is useful for studying FXR antagonism and separating FXR-dependent metabolic gene regulation from agonist-driven effects.
