Remodelin
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C15H14N4S
- MW: 282.36
Description
Remodelin is a NAT10 acetyltransferase inhibitor that rescues abnormal nuclear shape in laminopathic cells through microtubule reorganization. It reduces misshapen nuclei in LMNA-depleted cells, Hutchinson-Gilford progeria syndrome cells and aged primary fibroblasts.
NAT10 links acetyltransferase biology to nuclear architecture, laminopathy phenotypes and microtubule-dependent nuclear mechanics. Remodelin is useful for studying nuclear-shape rescue, progeroid cell biology and chromatin-associated stress mechanisms.
Key Features
- NAT10 acetyltransferase inhibitor
- Rescues nuclear-shape defects in laminopathic cells
- Acts through microtubule reorganization
- Active in HGPS and aged fibroblast models
Applications
- Laminopathy and HGPS research
- Nuclear architecture studies
- NAT10 pharmacology
- Microtubule-dependent nuclear-shape assays
