Description
STF 31 is an inhibitor of glucose transporter 1 (GLUT1/SLC2A1) that blocks glucose uptake and targets metabolic dependency in susceptible cancer models.
GLUT1-mediated glucose transport supports glycolysis and survival in metabolically adapted tumor cells, including models with altered VHL/HIF signaling. STF 31 is used to study glucose-transport dependence and cancer metabolic vulnerability.
