Description
Wiskostatin is a selective and reversible N-WASP inhibitor that stabilizes the autoinhibited conformation of N-WASP and prevents downstream Arp2/3-mediated actin nucleation.
N-WASP links Rho-family GTPase signaling to actin cytoskeleton remodeling, endocytosis, membrane dynamics and cell motility. Wiskostatin is used to probe actin-dependent cellular functions and N-WASP/Arp2/3 pathway regulation.
