Description
MK 0822 is a potent and selective cathepsin K (CTSK/Cat K) inhibitor.
Cathepsin K is an osteoclast cysteine protease responsible for collagen degradation during bone resorption. MK 0822 (Odanacatib) is useful for studying osteoclast function, bone matrix turnover and protease-targeted osteoporosis pharmacology.
