Description
R 406 is a selective spleen tyrosine kinase (Syk) inhibitor with a Ki value of 30 nM and is the active component of the prodrug fostamatinib.
Syk is a key kinase downstream of B-cell receptors, Fc receptors and immunoreceptor tyrosine-based activation motifs. R 406 is used to study immune cell activation, inflammatory signaling and hematologic disease mechanisms.
