Description
PD0220245 is a potent, non-peptide antagonist of the interleukin-8 receptors CXCR1 and CXCR2. It blocks chemokine-driven receptor signaling and inhibits functional responses to IL-8/CXCL8, including neutrophil activation and migration.
Dual CXCR1/CXCR2 inhibition makes PD0220245 useful for dissecting chemokine control of inflammatory-cell recruitment. It can be applied in models of neutrophilic inflammation, pulmonary disease and tumor-associated chemokine signaling.
Key Features
- Potent non-peptide CXCR1/CXCR2 antagonist
- Blocks IL-8/CXCL8 receptor signaling
- Inhibits neutrophil chemotaxis and activation responses
- Useful for studying chemokine-driven inflammatory recruitment
Applications
- CXCR1 and CXCR2 receptor pharmacology
- IL-8/CXCL8 signaling studies
- Neutrophil migration and inflammatory disease models
- Tumor microenvironment and chemokine-axis research
