Description
Flunisolide is a synthetic glucocorticoid receptor agonist with anti-inflammatory activity in nasal and airway tissues.
Flunisolide reduces inflammatory-cell recruitment, vascular permeability and cytokine production through glucocorticoid-responsive transcription. It is a clinically relevant reference for allergic rhinitis, airway inflammation and corticosteroid pharmacology.
