Description
IACS-010759 is a potent, orally bioavailable inhibitor of mitochondrial complex I and oxidative phosphorylation (OXPHOS). It suppresses NADH:ubiquinone oxidoreductase activity and reduces mitochondrial ATP production in metabolically dependent cancer cells.
Complex I is a key entry point for electrons into the mitochondrial respiratory chain and a therapeutic vulnerability in tumors with OXPHOS dependence. IACS-010759 is relevant for cancer metabolism, mitochondrial biology and metabolic synthetic-lethality studies.
