Motolimod
- VTX-2337 - VTX-378- Soluble in 0.1N HCl(aq) and DMSO
- MF: C28H34N4O2
- MW: 458.6
Description
Motolimod (VTX-2337) is a potent and selective agonist of Toll-like receptor 8 (TLR8) with an EC50 value of 100 nM. It activates TLR8 signaling in monocytes and myeloid dendritic cells, driving NF-κB-dependent innate immune responses.
Motolimod promotes production of TNF-α, IL-12 and other inflammatory mediators and can indirectly enhance natural-killer-cell activation and IFN-γ release. It is used to study human TLR8 biology, myeloid-cell activation, innate–adaptive immune crosstalk and immunostimulatory combination strategies.
Key Features
- Potent selective TLR8 agonist
- EC50: 100 nM
