Description
AM 095 is a potent and selective lysophosphatidic acid receptor 1 (LPA1/LPAR1) antagonist with IC50 values of 0.025 μM and 0.023 μM for antagonism of LPA-induced calcium flux in human and mouse LPA1-transfected CHO cells, respectively. It attenuates bleomycin-induced dermal fibrosis in reported studies.
LPA1 signaling regulates fibroblast activation, vascular permeability, inflammation and tissue-remodeling responses. AM 095 is useful for studying LPA1 antagonist pharmacology and fibrosis-related GPCR signaling.
