Description
NEO214 is a BBB penetrable autophagy inhibitor and a covalent conjugation of the natural monoterpene perillyl alcohol (POH) to Rolipram (Axon 1212). NEO214-induced cytotoxicity involves apoptosis triggered by endoplasmic reticulum (ER) stress, as well as activating the Death Receptor 5 (DR5)/TNF-related apoptosis-inducing ligand (TRAIL/Apo2L) pathway.
