NGI-1
- ML414 - N-linked Glycosylation Inhibitor-1- Soluble in DMSO and EtOH
- MF: C17H22N4O3S2
- MW: 394.51
Description
NGI-1 is a potent and cell-permeable inhibitor of oligosaccharyltransferase (OST) with an AC50 value of 1.1 μM for inhibition of N-linked glycosylation. NGI blocks the transfer of mature glycan precursors to recipient proteins. Moreover, NGI-1 blocks cell surface localization and signaling of the EGFR glycoprotein, but selectively arrests proliferation in only those cell lines that are dependent on EGFR (or FGFR) for survival. NGI-1 also exhibits pan-flaviviral activity.
