Description

UNC9750 hydrochloride is a second-generation, highly potent inositol phosphate multikinase (IPMK) inhibitor with an IC50 value of 31.6 nM. UNC9750 showed improved pharmacokinetic properties. Treatment of human U251-MG glioblastoma cells with UNC9750 produced a novel metabolic profile not previously observed in genetic loss-of-function studies of IPMK: UNC9750 decreased InsP5 levels, without affecting InsP6 abundance in 3H-inositol-labeled U251 glioblastoma cells.
