Description
MO-I-500 is a FTO inhibitor with an IC50 value of is 8.7 μM for the inhibition of purified FTO demethylase catalyzing demethylation of an artificial small methylated substrate. Moreover, MO-I-500 has anticonvulsant activity in the 6 Hz mouse model at nontoxic doses, increases the amount of m6A in total cellular RNA, and modulates levels of specific miRNAs.
