Description
KPT-330 (Selinexor) is a potent, selective and orally available exportin-1 (XPO1/CRM1) inhibitor and first-in-class selective inhibitor of nuclear export (SINE). It blocks CRM1-dependent nuclear export of tumor suppressor and regulatory proteins, altering nuclear-cytoplasmic protein trafficking.
XPO1-mediated export controls localization of many proteins involved in cell-cycle regulation, apoptosis and oncogenic transcription. KPT-330 is useful for studying nuclear export dependency and translational oncology mechanisms.
