Description
UNC1215 is a potent and selective L3MBTL3 methyllysine-reader antagonist with cellular activity. It is a first-in-class chemical probe for interrogating malignant brain tumor (MBT) domain methyllysine-binding proteins.
L3MBTL3 is an epigenetic reader that recognizes methylated lysine marks and contributes to chromatin-associated regulatory processes. UNC1215 is useful for studying chromatin reader biology, methyllysine recognition and epigenetic protein interactions.
