Description
GR 127935 hydrochloride is a putative and selective 5-hydroxytryptamine (5-HT) 1B/1D receptor antagonist. GR 127935 is widely used as a pharmacological tool to investigate the physiological and pathological roles of 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors in central nervous system and peripheral serotonin signaling.
The 5-HT1B and 5-HT1D receptors are G protein-coupled serotonin receptors involved in neurotransmitter release, vascular regulation, pain processing, and migraine pathophysiology. GR 127935 is a valuable research tool for studying serotonergic signaling pathways and receptor-mediated responses.
