Description
Stobadine is a membrane-permeable free-radical scavenger and antioxidant that neutralizes hydroxyl, peroxyl and alkoxyl radicals and quenches singlet oxygen.
Stobadine has been used to protect lipids, proteins and thiol groups from oxidative damage in cellular and animal models. Its broad antioxidant profile supports studies of oxidative stress, mitochondrial injury and cardio- or neuroprotection.
