Description
UCM-05194 ammonium salt is a potent and selective lysophosphatidic acid receptor 1 (LPA1) agonist with an EC50 value of 0.24 μM and a KD value of 19.6 nM. The compound selectively activates LPA1-mediated signaling and induces the characteristic cellular responses associated with receptor activation.
LPA1 is a G protein-coupled receptor that regulates neuronal excitability, neuroinflammation, fibrosis, wound healing, and neuropathic pain. Unlike conventional agonists, UCM-05194 promotes rapid LPA1 receptor internalization, resulting in functional receptor desensitization in primary sensory neurons.
