Avridine
- CP 20961- Soluble in DMSO and EtOH
- MF: C43H90N2O2
- MW: 667.19
Description
Avridine (CP 20961) is a lipoidal amine immunomodulator with interferon-inducing and adjuvant activity. It has been used to enhance immune responses to Newcastle disease antigen and to induce adjuvant arthritis in susceptible rat strains.
Avridine is pharmacologically relevant as an innate immune activation tool for studying vaccine adjuvanticity, cytokine induction, inflammatory arthritis and host immune modulation.
Key Features
- Lipoidal amine with immunomodulatory activity
- Induces interferon-associated immune responses
- Acts as an adjuvant in antigen-response models
- Can induce adjuvant arthritis in rat inflammation studies
Applications
- Vaccine adjuvant research
- Innate immune activation studies
- Inflammatory arthritis model development
- Cytokine and interferon biology
