Description
NVS-BPTF-1 is a potent, selective and cell-active chemical probe for bromodomain PHD finger transcription factor (BPTF) with an IC50 value of 56 nM and a Kd value of 71 nM. The compound enables selective interrogation of BPTF-dependent chromatin regulation and transcriptional processes in cellular systems.
BPTF (also known as FALZ) is the largest subunit of the nucleosome remodeling factor (NURF) complex and plays an important role in chromatin remodeling, transcriptional regulation, stem cell biology, development, and cancer progression. Through its bromodomain and PHD finger domains, BPTF recognizes specific histone modifications and regulates gene expression programs associated with cellular proliferation and differentiation.
