Description
(R)-CE3F4 is a stereoselective inhibitor of EPAC1 (RAPGEF3) with an IC50 value of 5.8 µM and approximately 10-fold selectivity over EPAC2. It inhibits the guanine-nucleotide exchange activity of EPAC1 rather than blocking cAMP-dependent protein kinase.
(R)-CE3F4 prevents EPAC1 activation in biochemical systems and living cells, enabling selective investigation of EPAC1–Rap signaling in adhesion, migration, vascular responses and cAMP compartmentalization. The racemate is available as CE3F4 (Axon 2929).
Key Features
- Stereoselective EPAC1 inhibitor
