STAT5 Inhibitor 1 [285986-31-4]
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C16H11N3O3
- MW: 293.28
Description
STAT5 Inhibitor 1 [CAS 285986-31-4] is a nonpeptidic small-molecule inhibitor of the transcription factor STAT5, with a reported IC50 value of 47 µM for STAT5β-domain function. It inhibits STAT5 DNA binding in vitro and reduces STAT5 activation in cellular systems.
The compound is used as a mechanistic probe for investigating STAT5-dependent transcription, cytokine signaling and immune-cell differentiation. Reported studies include suppression of STAT5 phosphorylation and effects on inducible regulatory T-cell generation; because cellular activity is in the micromolar range, concentration-matched controls are recommended.
