Description
Seratrodast (AA2414) is a selective thromboxane A2 prostanoid receptor antagonist that blocks TP-receptor-mediated bronchoconstriction, platelet and inflammatory signaling.
Thromboxane A2 contributes to airway smooth-muscle contraction, vascular responses and inflammatory-cell activation. Seratrodast is a clinically relevant reference for TP receptor pharmacology and asthma-associated eicosanoid signaling.
