Description
Butabindide oxalate is an inhibitor of tripeptidyl peptidase II (TPPII/TPP2), a cytosolic protease involved in peptide processing.
TPPII participates in intracellular proteolysis, neuropeptide turnover and antigen processing pathways. Butabindide is useful for evaluating TPPII-dependent peptide degradation and protease-regulated cellular responses.
