C-S Lyase
C-S lyases catalyze the α,β-elimination of sulfur-containing amino acids, such as L-cystathionine, to generate ammonia, pyruvate, and homocysteine, the penultimate step in methionine biosynthesis transsulfuration pathway.[1]
