NIBR189
- Soluble in DMSO
- MF: C21H21BrN2O3
- MW: 429.31
Description
NIBR189 is a potent and selective antagonist of the oxysterol receptor EBI2/GPR183, with IC50 values of 11 nM for human EBI2 and 15 nM for mouse EBI2. NIBR189 blocks receptor activation by endogenous oxysterol ligands and inhibits EBI2-driven migration.
NIBR189 is used to examine EBI2 pharmacology across human and mouse systems, receptor-guided immune-cell positioning and oxysterol-dependent chemotaxis. Its cross-species potency and useful pharmacokinetic properties make it suitable for translating cell-based findings into in vivo immune and inflammatory models.
Key Features
- Selective EBI2/GPR183 antagonist
