Description
AX-024 is a first-in-class inhibitor of T cell receptor (TCR). It is an orally available inhibitor of the TCR-Nck interaction that selectively inhibits TCR-triggered T cell activation (IC50 value 1nM). By modulating TCR signaling, the inhibitor prevented the development of psoriasis and asthma and furthermore, exerted along-lasting therapeutic effect in a model of autoimmune encephalomyelitis.
AX-024 hydrochloride is much more applicable as the water-soluble salt form of AX-024.
