UNC10142
- Soluble in 0.1N HCl(aq), DMSO and EtOH
- MF: C33H52N6O3
- MW: 580.81
Description
UNC10142 is a first-in-class CHD1 tandem chromodomain antagonist with an IC50 value of 1.7 μM. Treatment of PTEN-deficient prostate cancer cells with UNC10142 produces a dose-dependent reduction in viability, while PTEN-intact prostate cancer cells are unaffected, phenocopying genetic loss of CHD1.
CHD1 is a chromodomain-helicase DNA-binding protein involved in chromatin regulation, transcriptional control, and histone-associated gene regulation. UNC10142 is a valuable chemical probe for studying CHD1 biology, chromodomain function, and PTEN-deficient prostate cancer models.
